What are mental pollutiants? In todays world, they’re hard to miss them. Advertisements are in every direction you look in. only on watching Tv the brain absorbs hundred thousands of commercials. It’s not just busses, billbords, and stadiums anymore; ATMs, highways, and farm lands as well. No matter in what direction you look in, there’ll always be an advertisement around.
Everyday things no include ads on items simple things like fuiling your car, waiting in line, or just driving down the street. Advertisements are made to either persade, inform, and/or entertain you. Bildbord sizes of high way signs; how can a person not miss that. “Anywhere your eyes can possibly come to rest is a place that, in corporate american’s view, can and ought to be filled with a logo, or production message” (Kale Lasn). Your kids are exposed to these as even in classrooms. Advertising companies have taken it to far; most of them just haven’t relized it. Yet markets have upgrated there shopping carts.
Manditory chores such as shopping have changed in small yet unimaginable ways. Shopping carts now contain small screens also known as monitors displaying messagies, and product as you shop. The monitors were installed by a company called videocarte. These shopping carts may look more favorable compaird to the old ones, but that’s how companies get you. A random product shows up on the screen on your cart, you wonte be able to control yourself, and end up buying it. Video carte’s company executive describes the monitors to be “the micromarketing medium available today”. “there is no here to run… no one will be spared. It’s everywhere and you just ant hide from it. We’ve all been victims advertisements.
Kale Lasn describes moments in their life when classical music such Beethoven play in their head, since the amount of advertisements today, the Oscar Meyer Weiner jingle replaced what one use to be classic music. Advertisements did this.
Commercials, chores, shopping carts, ATM’s and more have some type of advertisement. No way of avoiding any of it because its everywhere you look – latterly.
