Blog 3: Remake of "Blog 1"

From the moment you wake you to the moment you hit the sheets, your brain absorbs useless information like a sponge; such as advertisements. Ads are everywhere you look. Can’t see? There on the radio so you won’t have to. In today’s world everyday things include ads. Ads can be spotted in areas from city to open land. According to Hype by Kalle Lasn one won’t be able to rest your eyes without a product logo. The author also mentions how you can’t escape from ads, no matter how you try to avoid them.
I agree that the spread of advertisement has increased rapidly over time.

When I think back some years back, being in a car as a child I never sat still. Ill see billboard after billboard. Every time I looked out the back window to see what on the other side they’ll be nothing but the metal frame, and the two legs that hold it up. One sided billboards where common to see here and there.  When I do this in today’s world, there’s an advertisement on the other side as well. These billboards upgraded through a couple of years from single side advertisement to double sided ones.

Just about everything’s that’s free has many advertisements compared to ones things that you pay for. Streaming websites for example, compare Hulu Plus and regular Hulu. Hulu is free to anyone who enjoys watching there shows online, mean while your watching your show/movie you’ll have a random 30 seconds to a 90 second advertisement. When having Hulu Plus they’re advertisements and on top of that one has the opportunity to watch episodes that Hulu people are not able to watch.

The only reason the free things in life come with advertisements is because the companies pay for the propaganda so you won’t have to but while they do that your busy getting entertained and persuaded to buying these items.

Blog 1: Diagnostics

Blog 1: Diagnostics
What are mental pollutiants? In todays world, they’re hard to miss them. Advertisements are in every direction you look in. only on watching Tv the brain absorbs hundred thousands of commercials. It’s not just busses, billbords, and stadiums anymore; ATMs, highways, and farm lands as well. No matter in what direction you look in, there’ll always be an advertisement around.
Everyday things no include ads on items simple things like fuiling your car, waiting in line, or just driving down the street. Advertisements are made to either persade, inform, and/or entertain you. Bildbord sizes of high way signs; how can a person not miss that. “Anywhere your eyes can possibly come to rest is a place that, in corporate american’s view, can and ought to be filled with a logo, or production message” (Kale Lasn). Your kids are exposed to these as even in classrooms. Advertising companies have taken it to far; most of them just haven’t relized it. Yet markets have upgrated there shopping carts.
Manditory chores such as shopping have changed in small yet unimaginable ways. Shopping carts now contain small screens also known as monitors displaying messagies, and product as you shop. The monitors were installed by a company called videocarte. These shopping carts may look more favorable compaird to the old ones, but that’s how companies get you. A random product shows up on the screen on your cart, you wonte be able to control yourself, and end up buying it. Video carte’s company executive describes the monitors to be “the micromarketing medium available today”. “there is no here to run… no one will be spared. It’s everywhere and you just ant hide from it. We’ve all been victims advertisements.
Kale Lasn describes moments in their life when classical music such Beethoven play in their head, since the amount of advertisements today, the Oscar Meyer Weiner jingle replaced what one use to be classic music. Advertisements did this.
Commercials, chores, shopping carts, ATM’s and more have some type of advertisement. No way of avoiding any of it because its everywhere you look – latterly.
